08-29-2017 Update in response to the owner's accusation of slander. Leo has been at a new, responsible and incredible daycare since leaving MyDog. He gets nothing but glowing reports and his caregivers (who are with him constantly) have not complained about any kind of destructive behavior. Like I said he is not a destructive dog and must have been extremely stressed and alone IF he did indeed do the damage he is accused of. Truth is not slander. Receiving an email on a Sunday regarding damage that my dog supposedly did on Friday is extraordinarily unprofessional. Why wasn't I apprised on Friday when I picked him up if it were true. Further, I have it on good authority from a former employee and a flooring contractor expert that the damage shown in the photo is old damage that could not have been done easily or in any short amount of time. The owner has yet to return my money that I had on account. Not only is the facility dangerous for dogs, the owner is extremely unprofessional. Leo's new daycare has windows that are open to all areas of care. It's no wonder that MyDog covered the inside windows of the first daycare room and no one is allowed back with the dogs. I can observe Leo and his care at any time that he is at his new daycare. I only wish I could have seen what was going on at MyDog while he was there, I'm sure now that I wouldn't not have been taking him there for very long. If "strong Christian values means lying and fraudulent charges, then, yes MyDog adheres to these values. Doesn't seem very Christian to me. Actions speak much louder than words.
Update 08/23/2017 - After being sent a photo of said damage, it is clear to anyone that whoever did this damage, it took a lot of time to do. Any claim that someone was in attendance while it was happening is patently false. Also, I was sent new receipts showing 0 days left in my two packages. I'm glad I saved the check-out receipt from 08/18/2017 which shows 6 full and 7 half days left. Since my leaving was not the result of not using what was left, but was the result of possible danger to my dog(s) a full refund of those days are in order. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Leo is now attending a new daycare where he is monitored at ALL times and the staff says he's wonderful. He is kept busy all day with toys and games and even a pool, all for about the same cost. I'm only sorry I didn't ask more questions and do a lot more research before choosing MyDog in the first place.... ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am so sorry I ever entrusted my dogs to this facility. Before the owner decided to fire the best staff members she had there and hire people who are more interested in fake greetings than actually caring for my dogs Before the "house cleaning," my dogs would leave there with their tails wagging. Since the "house cleaning" they leave there with their tails down. Then they are accused of doing damage with absolutely no proof. Apparently, they didn't think very hard about the daycare rooms when they decided to glue rubber trim there. If I had known about these unsafe conditions, I would have pulled them out long ago. It's like having lead paint chips at a human day care and then blaming the kids for eating it when left unattended!! I took my dogs there to be cared for, not to have access to unsafe environments UNATTENDED!! Also, we were denied the military discount when my father, WHO HAS PAID EVERY CENT (OVER $700.00 PER MONTH FOR DAYCARE AND GROOMING), who is a Korean War Vet, asked for it. But the worst part is that they have been SPRAYING MY DOG as "punishment" without my knowledge or consent. I have water dogs and the last thing I want is for them to become afraid of the water. Take your dogs there at your own risk, I will say a prayer for them. ...
